Thursday Mar 25, 2021
Thursday Mar 25, 2021
Twenty years ago four young lads from Kippax released their debut album, The Music. Just going through the track list it’s difficult to label what exactly this band was about. They’ve been described as Indie Rock, infused with drum and bass, Led Zeppelin, Stone Roses, and touch of Rage Against the Machine for good measure. No matter who you think they sound like, the songs on this debut album are timeless and still played in heavy rotation 20 years later. This week on Music and more, we welcome The Music for a full review of their debut album.

Before long, the internet, for better or worse, radically changed the music game. This week on Music and more, Adam and Pete welcome former Hut Records label manager David Boyd to discuss the early days at Hut, his involvement with various bands and the part he played in The Music’s epic debut album.
